Responsibilities:

• Prepare inspection reports and failure analysis report to compressor seal test engineer and customer
• Arrange and inspect the tester seal components to ensure fit for use
• Perform periodic inventory count of the tester seal part components
• Perform cleaning and refurbishing of the compressor seal components prior to testing
• Repair and test compressor seal according to test procedure, engineering drawings and specifications
• Perform periodic maintenance and calibration of the tester and instrumentations
• Support in-house service and assembly of mechanical seals as required

Requirements:

• Diploma/Higher NITEC in Engineering discipline, Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Min. 3 years experience in troubleshooting, service/repair and maintenance
• Incumbent with experience in mechanical seal or rotating equipment will be of added advantage
• Must be physically fit and a good team player
• Must be able to read engineering drawings
• Good analytical, problem solving skills and communication skills
• Independent, self-motivated and innovative
• Must be able to work overtime when required
